Lisbon Historic Sites

Step back in time to the Age of Discovery at the Monastery of the Hieronymites and the Tower of Belém. Learn about Portugal’s famed sailors, while you look for armillary spheres and twisted ropes carved onto the ceiling. Faro Beaches

While there, look out for black-tailed godwits, ringed plovers, and little snipes, as the Ria Formosa National Park where the island is located, is a bird sanctuary.
